🌿 Equipment Guide

What You’ll Need for Your DM Mindful Wellness Sessions

My aim is to make every session accessible, comfortable, and stress‑free.

 

This guide outlines what you may want to bring, what’s optional, and how to adapt if you don’t have equipment at home.

 

Essential Items

These basics help you feel supported and ready to move:

 

Exercise or Pilates mat and props

Any comfortable mat works. If you don’t have one let me know and I may be able to provide one for the session. A small towel may be required to support your head or areas of the body that may need a little extra padding.

Water bottle

Staying hydrated supports your practice. Please bring water along with you in a sealed container to prevent spillage.  

​

Comfortable clothing

Choose clothing that allows you to move freely and breathe easily. Jeans or Jeggins are not permitted in class. 

 

 

Additional Props

These can enhance comfort and alignment, but may also be used as part of  your exercise class:

Yoga blocks or sturdy books can support your lower back and release your hips, bringing the floor closer to you.

Resistance bands are sometimes used for strength and flexibility work.

 

What I Provide (In‑Person Sessions)

If you’re attending an in‑person class:

Spare mats (limited availability), yoga blocks for supporting your body, 

Modifications and alternatives for all movements

A calm, supportive environment where you can move at your own pace

 

For Online Sessions

If you’re joining from home:

Choose a space where you can stretch your arms and legs comfortably.

A laptop, tablet, or phone placed where you can see it easily.

Camera use is optional — choose what feels comfortable for you.

Household items (pillows, books, scarves) work perfectly as props.
